Stop & Go - Your Everyday Car Garage

I visited this garage lately and I was advised to do the tire balancing and that’s will sort out the problem, which was subsequently done at the garage. After driving the car there was no change, I went back to them, the guy working there told me the balancing machine doesn’t work properly, while the manager denied that’s the case. I was instead told that the problem was with my tires and I was told I should have them replaced (even though they are less than a year old). I immediately felt uneasy about the service performed and suggested. On the same day I took the car to a different garage and they solved the tires balancing . To me, this confirmed what the worker said, with their machine not working properly and should not have been used (or charged for). I went back to the garage to complain and get a refund and was told to return with a receipt from the second garage, and that they would then process my refund. After obtaining the receipt I went back again to process the refund and they decided not to honor it, stating there is no guarantee the balancing would fix the issue and that they are therefore not to be held responsible. I take issue with this approach as firstly they advised me that they could fix the issue, conducted a faulty balancing procedure, and then charged full price knowing the service has in fact not worked, and secondly, the recommendation to instead purchase completely new tires suggest that the person conducting the test is either not knowledgeable enough to provide such service or was trying to mislead me to spend more money. It is clear that their machine is not working, given another garage had no issues rectifying the problem. Stop&Go have not only provided me with a poor service, they have also charged a full fee for this service knowing it did not fix anything. They have also acted in bad faith in not honoring the agreement to properly refund me for this.

Super support. Arrived with an emergency blow out and was back on the road within hours with exactly the right tyre. 10/10 would recommend.

They messed with the car and don’t even know how to fix it. They couldn’t properly install the water pump and ended up blocking the engine. Now, I’m holding them accountable and taking official action against them because I have a printout from the dealership on the same day I took the car to them. I’m in the process of filing complaints, especially since they don’t record anything properly on the invoice—they just write ‘service’ because they know they are messing things up. In addition, I am involving the Ministry of Labor for taking action against untrained personnel and for tampering with vehicles.”

Bought 4 new tires and they installed them not right so my sensor showed wrong information they put the front right tire at left and so on… and payed around 4200aed and that service….
