Pets Plus is a small store, but they have really good prices on pet products, making it a great place to shop for supplies. They also have adorable puppies and cats, though their prices for pets are quite high. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly spot for pet essentials, this is a good option. However, if you’re interested in buying a pet, be prepared for premium pricing.

Update: my pup developed ongoing diarrhoea the next night of arriving home and tested positive for Giardia a week later (he hasn’t been out of the house). Advice for first time dog owners: after taking your puppy home, do have him vaccination checked after a few weeks to ensure his immune system has responded to the vaccinations. Also be aware that they may initially test negative for infectious diseases and symptoms can then develop within 5-7 days of that, so monitor any new symptoms such as diarrhoea, mucus in stools and lethargy closely. You really went above and beyond in every way, and we’re deeply grateful to you for your guidance and expertise. The health check included right before the puppy was released was reassuring. I can’t recommend these guys enough. As for the shop itself, it isn’t ideal that it’s set in the basement carpark as no natural daylight reaches the animals and they must be inhaling fumes somewhat, but this doesn’t in any way reflect the customer service which was stellar.

My cat absolutely loved what I brought home for her, which made me really happy. The atmosphere of the store was clean, welcoming, and easy to navigate.
