Very disappointing experience! This is my 3rd time here and today it didn’t completely print my bank statement I asked the information hub and they told me “probably no more paper” when I asked them if they can find a way to have it refilled since I need the bank statement urgently they said third party does it and I said maybe they can call the person in charge or manager but they said no. I asked their names but I couldn’t understand it, that one lady was rude and very unhelpful. I pleaded them but they just showed no effort to help, what’s the point of being the customer support no advice like you may comeback later or visit other mashreq bank nothing at all! No sort of resolution, very bad customer handling. As an HQ hub this is a very disappointing experience. I will not get any service from this branch anymore.

Recommendation to evade despite it might look pretty outside. They failed to provide any help with SWIFTs; failed to pay so called Joining Bonus despite the salary has been transferred systematically; failed to provide EUR cash from savings account because "your signature must be updated, it will take 24 hours then come again to only 1 branch". The stock is good, they pay dividends, but the service is terrible. Maybe some proper service is opened at Gold level, one can experiment because you can become Gold there from brokerage.

Nothing but a scam and a disappointment! Mashreq Bank has been charging me for almost a year for a subscription I don’t have, despite my numerous attempts to resolve this issue via calls, emails, and even branch visits. The bank provided zero support. Once I raised this in April and requested to cancel the card, the customer service officer made every promise that the problem was resolved and not to cancel the card. But they charged again in May When I visited the branch, the assistant simply asked me to call customer support again. Over the phone, I was advised by Officer Roushen Kumar to consider taking legal action. I was also told the issue would be resolved in 2 working days, which, of course, never happened. And they mark the issue resolved without actually resolving it! I stopped using the card completely for 2 months yet they continued to charge me for the same subscription which I no longer have under Mashreq., and now they've added a late fee on top of everything. It is deeply disheartening that, as a minority customer, I feel completely ignored. No one from the bank has followed up on my dispute or offered a genuine resolution. Very disappointing experience. Terrible customer service. And the bank continues to add the auto-generated response on how sorry they are and to contact them through their app, which btw does not work properly, half the time the app is under maintenance and, you cannot get any service done easily, can't even log complaints, the chatbot is just as unhelpful, inefficient an incompetent as the bank and its overall customer service.

Extremely Disappointed with Mashreq Bank’s Services! As a long-time user of Mashreq Bank, I am beyond frustrated with the poor performance of their mobile application and overall banking services. Here are the major issues I’ve faced: 1. Unreliable & Slow Mobile App – The Android app is painfully slow and lacks efficiency. Simple actions take forever, and opening a new card requires multiple confirmations and calls to customer service. 2. Excessive & Unjustified Fees – AED 21 monthly fees without clear justification, AED 1 for every local transfer, and high withdrawal fees in Europe despite being told otherwise before my trip. 3. Unprofessional Customer Support – The majority of customer service representatives have poor English and Arabic communication skills, making problem resolution extremely difficult. 4. Misleading Information & Poor Card Performance Abroad – Before traveling, I confirmed that my card would work smoothly in Europe. Instead, I faced terrible exchange rates, high fees, and today, my card stopped working entirely without warning—no email, no notification, nothing! 5. Financial Inconvenience & Lack of Transparency – I was left stranded abroad without access to my money, relying on my other bank account to get through the day. This level of service is unacceptable. A bank should provide reliability, transparency, and efficient customer support—not constant stress and hidden charges. This will be my last time using Mashreq Bank, and I demand a refund for the unjust fees and the inconvenience caused.
