Fergus & his team provided a fantastic service from start to finish when I was choosing a ring to propose to my girlfriend with in the Maldives. I had the pleasure of working with Fergus James in Dubai to create a completely custom engagement ring, and I cannot express enough how professional, responsive, and lovely the entire experience was. I worked directly with Mike, who was incredibly patient and professional throughout the whole process. Even though all communication happened online via whatsapp—without a single phone call—it felt smooth and personal. Every question I had was answered thoroughly, and they went above and beyond to accommodate all my wishes, even the smallest details. The ring design was a personal vision, and they brought it to life perfectly. We combined a platinum base with a natural pink sapphire at the center, flanked by two classic diamonds on each side. The idea was to symbolize two sides coming together and growing into something magical—love—beautifully represented by the pink sapphire in the middle. What impressed me most was how they exactly made the ring of our dreams and delivered it exactly as we agreed and even made adjustments afterward (during the easter break) to ensure everything was perfect and we are done on time before we leave Dubai. Their professionalism gave me full confidence in the process, even though I had never seen the ring physically until it was completed. If I had one small remark, it would be that I would have appreciated a bit more guidance when selecting the materials and diamonds (especially on the diamonds), especially since the entire process was done online. A bit more expert advice in the early stages would have been helpful, considering how complex these decisions can be. That said, I’m beyond happy with the final result—it felt like the ring was truly ours from start to finish. I can highly recommend Fergus James for anyone looking for a professional, trustworthy, and highly skilled jeweler, even if you’re working remotely.
