Gulf Concrete & Blocks

Gulf Concrete & Blocks was established in October 1994. The company has six fully computerized batching plants with a total capacity of 680m3 per hour. Facilities include flake ice plants, chiller plants, silos for micro silica and other special materials. The laboratory is equipped with all major testing equipment, including concrete durability tests, transit mixers, mobile concrete pumps, and stationary pumps for single-stage pumping for high-rise buildings. The company has supplied to several prestigious projects of the Ministry of Public Works & Housing, Ministry of Defense, Federal Electricity & Water Authority, Ras al Khaimah Government, Public Works Department of Abu Dhabi, TRANSCO Abu Dhabi, as well as all major projects in the private sector. The company is accredited to Quality Management System since 2000 (ISO 9001:2008), Environment Management System (ISO 14001:2004), and Occupational Health Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001:2007) since 2013. GCB has a large fleet of transit mixers and truck-mounted concrete pumps. There are two production centers currently in Ras al Khaimah capable of delivering ready-mixed concrete to Ras al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Ajman, Fujairah, and parts of Sharjah. A third production center will be commissioned in Umm Al Quwain in the second half of 2015.
